  1. As someone who has long decided to speak freely about my Bipolar Illness, I have found that people are more likely to share a bit about an aspect of mental illness in their own lives. The more people talk about it, the better. I have a bit of a ‘somewhat’ public platform as a singer-songwriter to work from. I am more than happy to speak about it. Email me if you would like! • Dear Robin,

I saw your comments on this blog, and I would like to hear more about your experiences, etc. I too am Bipolar, and I used to be able to get my feelings out by writing poetry. I think it’s wonderful that you can use your gift as a singer-songwriter to speak freely about the illness.

Thanks, and have a good day.

      • Hi Teresa,

How long have you been dx’d with bp? Oops, not British Petroleum…hehe. I think I’m going on about 10 yrs now, even though I’ve always known I was struggling with something or another. Did it take a while for you to get a proper dx? I know that is a problem for quite a few people. I am one of the luckier ones, in that that I responded to meds after trying only a few combinations of the right ones for me. The other thing that has really helped me is educating myself on the illness and what my expectations should be. Having honest to goodness input from people close to me is always important. If they see me starting to ride the coaster of bp, they lovingly let me know.

Tell me a little about you & your experiences.
        Pax, Robin Moore

  3. I would like to join the list of Blog sites for those interested in the community of users for bringchange2mind. Iam a Mom, my daughter has bp and we have been estranged. I love and miss her but have not understood what kind of support she would accept from Mom. I believe she has gone many years (maybe decades) undiagnosed and understood my family, and school. All I want is to learn as much as I can to be the support and Mother she needs. Thank you for your work and outreach to those involved. Livinglife
